Asked for deluxe twin room and it was reasonably spacious and spotless with a nice view. Location: the hotel was really close to the island.

Gardens, restaurants, pools, ... all amazingly good! In terms of restaurants, we did pay a lot more than downtown restaurants, but it was all worth it!
We as Europeans were not really comfortable with the lack of actual separation between toilet room and the bed room :). There was some separation between them, but it was a window made of wood, so it was as if the same room. Anyway... one can get over that easily! Oh, and don't count on internet access from mobile phones ... it didn't work. However, as we were on our honeymoon, it didn't matter so much :).

The gardens are amazing, the hotel is dated but is immacualtely kept. The pool towels are huge. The staff are attentive and very friendly. The location is great, right in the middle of Sanur but well away from the road so very peaceful. The beach is clean. The food was excellent. Plenty of sun beds, the staff even moved them for us so that we could squeeze in around the pool. Although it is a big hotel, it didn't feel that way.
I felt that the lobby could have been jazzed up a bit at not a great expense. The balcony doors were thin glass so being a light sleeper I woke early with the local bird and insect life. Blockout curtains instead of louvres would be good too. The hot water was too hot, this could be quite dangerous with young children.

The outdoor pool area was beautifully landscaped and always inviting.
Breakfast options were limited, and the quality didn't match the hotel's overall charm.

The first impression of the hotel is that it is somewhat dated and in need of renovation. However, what it lacks in modernity it makes up for in quality and class. A high level of staff training and competence has been uniquely blended with a culture of homeliness, warmth and true hospitality. This is indeed a rare and priceless combination for any hotel. The gardens are huge and magnificent and the hotel is conveniently located should guests wish to sample the shopping and dining opportunities nearby. The club facilities are excellent particularly the garden lounge...well worth upgrading and great value for money.
For beach lovers the sands are not the best. There are better beach locations in Bali.

Expect a tropical paradise with friendly staff who genuinely care. The atmosphere is relaxing, ideal for couples or families. The dining options are good, especially the breakfast buffet. The facilities like the pool and gym are excellent too. A perfect escape that makes every moment enjoyable for its guests.

Comfort, Location and Service. Everything worked like clockwork. Regency Club offered airline Executive Lounge style and calm, in very pleasant setting
Meals, incidental drinks very expensive, ie 2 Pizza's and 2 small beers for £32(Rps433,180 local) Therefore ate and drank very well nearby outside hotel for about 50% of cost. Bathrooms a little dated but serviceable.

Modern room with separate beds for the children, a lovely veranda and a nice view and extensive breakfast to start the day. Unbeatable and stunning location, in the pond area. Free parking on-site provided:)))

This hotel is truly outstanding and I would recommend whole heartedly.Much better in my view than the very sterile (but higher priced) hotels in Nusa Dua.Staff were outstanding and the beach/garden setting excellent.
Pity about the seaweed at the beach - but not an issue by any means.Beyond control of the hotel and plenty of other options.

The stay was quite relaxing, thanks to the beautifully landscaped pool area that was always inviting. The spacious King Suite exceeded expectations with its cleanliness and comfort. The buffet breakfast was impressive, featuring a variety of local and international dishes. The pool area could get crowded at times, which detracted from the otherwise enjoyable experience.
